Infertility Counseling

There is inherent grief and loss with infertility that at times can feel overwhelming, which can lead to isolation, anger, hopelessness, or despair.  It can impact your relationships with family and friends.  For those who are struggling with infertility,  you do not have to face it alone.  Based on my personal experience with infertility, as well as my clinical background, I offer a safe, supportive environment to process your grief and ultimately find healing. For those of you who are seeking fertility treatment, including IVF, surrogacy,

or sperm/egg donor, I know there are ups and downs along the way, and often many questions arise. It is an emotionally challenging and unpredictable journey. I can help you navigate the process to find clarity and resolution.  If you are considering growing your family through adoption, I would like to work with you to process your grief and loss around infertility so that you may be whole heartedly ready for the next chapter of your life.  Infertility can test the strength of any relationship.  It can cause unhealthy blaming or shaming of yourself or your partner, and can impact your ability to remain emotionally connected to one another. I offer couples counseling to help you reconnect with each other and strengthen your relationship, so that you face your brave journey together.

"Infertility is a loss. A loss of a dream. A future, different than hoped. There will be tears and sadness before the sun will shine again."

Perinatal Counseling

As I believe in a continuum of care for clients,  I also provide counseling for those who are pregnant or have become new parents.   You may find yourself suffering from negative thoughts, depression, or anxiety after becoming pregnant or having your baby.  You are not alone, and I can help navigate and normalize these feelings with you, so that you may feel hopeful again.  For those who overcame infertility and are struggling with postpartum anxiety or depression, I want you to know that infertility does not define how parenthood will affect you.   This can be a vulnerable time where you need continued support and encouragement to be your best self for you and your family.
